Primary 5 have been very busy this term. We have taken part in a Shared Education Programme with our Partner School, Sacred Heart Primary School and have been learning through sport and Numeracy activities. We had so much fun that we even got to go to Lorne Estate and take part in Archery, Bushcraft and High rope climbing activities.
Our class topic this term has been the Ancient Egyptians and we have been learning all about their ways and traditions. We have learnt how to write in hieroglyphics and to count using Ancient Egyptian Numerical Systems. Stay Tuned to find out who is going to be mummified ….
We are combining Literacy, WAU and ICT by creating glossaries and creative writing using Purple Mash.
We have been completing a programme with Young at Art and can’t wait to see our Home Exhibition in the Mac Theatre!
We play a range of different sports and we love to go swimming every Tuesday in Term 2 to develop our skills in swimming.
